The CMA is not a replacement for the CPA/CA; it is a powerful supplement focused on business drivers rather than statutory compliance.
- Structure: CMA is 2 Exam Parts. CPA/CA is 6+ modules.
- Duration: CMA takes 9-15 Months. CPA/CA takes ~3 Years part-time.
- Commencement: CMA can be started after Grade 12 (during Uni).

- Testing Windows: Jan/Feb, May/June, Sep/Oct (via Prometric).
- Format: Each part is a 4-hour exam. (3 Hours for 100 MCQs, 1 Hour for Essay/Scenarios).
- Scoring: Scaled score from 0 to 500. Passing score is 360.
